Class Saint - St Joseph

     

RE

This half term we are going to be thinking about the amazing ‘Creation’.

We will be thinking about all of God’s creations and how we are created to love and to be loved.

We will also be learning about our Class saint, Saint Joseph. 

 

English

We will be listening to lots of dinosaur stories. Our Focus Stories will be Dinosaur Roar and Tom and the Island of Dinosaurs.

We will think carefully about how we hold our pencil for drawing and writing and how we write the letters in our name.    

 

P.E

The children will have P.E. on Monday with Mr Sigley and on Friday with the class teacher. P.E. kits need to be in school for the full ½ term. Both P.E. sessions will develop children’s balance, agility and confidence in moving in different ways.

Please make sure ALL P.E. kits are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

 

 

Reading Diaries

Reading Diaries: Please listen to your child read at least 3 times a week (school policy) and ensure that you sign their diaries. Diaries will be checked every Friday.  Please practise any sounds and words that are in your child’s purse.

We will tick them when they recognise them correctly in school.

• 04/10/24 Creative Day – Come dressed as a Dinosaur, Palaeontologist or Explorer!
• 04/10/24 flu vaccination day.
