Class Saint - St. Veronica 

RE

In RE this half term, we will be learning about the Church’s celebration of Easter through the Easter Vigil.  The children will be learning about the Church’s belief in eternal life through the Easter story and the story of Ascension of Jesus into Heaven.       Whilst recalling the events of Pentecost, we will focus on the transformation of the Apostles of Jesus through the                                    gift of the Holy Spirit. The children will discuss the qualities of the Holy Spirit and know that it is included in the                 Church’s belief in the Holy Trinity. 

Our virtues and values focus will be Eloquent and Truthful.

 

Class Text

PE

This half term, the children will have their PE lessons with Mr Sigley, our PE specialist. PE will be on Mondays and Fridays, however, children should keep their PE kit in school all week as we may go out on different days, dependent on the weather.

 

Homework Expectations

Children will continue to receive daily Maths and Literacy homework, which is to be completed each night. On Thursdays, children will receive one piece of either Maths or English homework plus one piece of homework linked to a foundation subject (Art, Science, MFL, Computing, Music, Geography, History etc).  This will be due in on the following Tuesday.
